From design solutions through creating that one-of-a-kind masterpiece, to the final installation, we cater to the private sector and corporate as well, working with interior designers, architects, builders and individuals.

We’ll complete any of these projects beyond the client’s expectations.

 

 

Company Story

Carpen House was founded by Alex Stivala in 1980 in his native town of Alta Gracia in the province of Cordoba, Argentina.

Following his dreams and ambitions, he came to America and established his name in the city of Little Falls, Upstate New York in 1990, growing the clientele portfolio nation wide.

Alex is a third generation of woodworker, his skills allowed him to introduce old world traditional style to the present technological of modern times with out compromising the quality of the product.

Carpen House covers a vast area of the Northeast and any other part of the United States and the world.

We’ve done projects in Brazil, Chile and Argentina at the time of the globalization phenomenon in 2000 working for American companies that expanded over seas.

Artist Statement

I consider the craft of woodworking an expression of art.

In every creation I seek to capture the essence of a well balanced

and harmonious design - the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality, achieving at the same time the realization of my client’s vision and expectation of the end result.

My mission is to translate the customer’s dream into a reality by using the best of my abilities as a designer and a craftsman, overcoming all the challenges that come with every project.

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in custom cabinetry, kitchen & Bath design.
  • Capable to draw with Auto CAD and visual designing computer programs.
  • Some experience in the interior design and dealing with clients.
  • Some experience in wood products manufacturing and production management.

Craftsman

 

Qualifications

  • Understanding different wood species and wood behavior.
  • Knowledgeable in fabricating custom cabinetry.
  • Experienced in reading shop drawings and laying out full scale drawings for production.
  • Experienced in using industrial woodworking equipment and running production.

Finisher                

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding different finishing products, color matching, sheens and textures.
  • Knowledgeable in spraying equipment’s and spraying lacquers, conversion varnishes, polyurethane, etc.
  • Experienced in production line finishing products.
